We perform a full cooling load calculation based on building square footage, occupancy levels, internal heat loads, glazing, insulation values, local design conditions, and operational schedule. Proper sizing is non-negotiable oversized equipment short-cycles and degrades prematurely, while undersized equipment can't maintain setpoint during peak summer conditions.

A packaged rooftop unit serves a defined zone through ductwork and is best suited for smaller commercial spaces or buildings with straightforward floor plans. A VRF system uses a single outdoor unit connected to multiple independent indoor units across different zones, enabling simultaneous heating and cooling in different areas and significantly better part-load efficiency. VRF is typically the better choice for larger, multi-tenant, or complex buildings. We assess both options and recommend based on your building's specific profile.
